Our client is looking to appoint a Mechanical Fitter to support the installation, maintenance, refurbishment, and repair of mechanical equipment within electrical infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional who enjoys working on critical infrastructure in a safety-focused environment.Roles and Responsibilities Carry out the installation, assembly, maintenance, and overhaul of mechanical equipment associated with electrical infrastructure.Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and installation procedures.Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, levelling, and torqueing of equipment and associated components.Install and maintain pipework, cooling systems, steelwork, cable support systems, and ancillary mechanical equipment.Conduct fault finding and diagnose mechanical issues, implementing effective repairs to minimise downtime.Work closely with electrical engineers, commissioning teams, and site supervisors to ensure successful project delivery.Complete inspection reports, maintenance records, and quality documentation accurately.Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards while working on live operational sites.
