Fitter - Livingston People Solutions are currently recruiting for Furniture Fitters to join our client based in Livingston, working on new school and office building sites.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is happy working as part of a team. The role will involve travelling to various sites to help deliver, move, assemble and install furniture.Shifts: Monday to Friday: 7.30am starts (Starting September)Rates of Pay: £13.00 per hourBenefits:Your benefits as a Furniture Fitter will be:Weekly payMonday to Friday workingNo weekend workOn-the-job trainingFriendly and supportive working environmentDay-to-Day Duties:Your duties as a Furniture Fitter will include:Travelling to various school and office building sitesDriving company vehicles to and from sitesLoading, unloading and moving furniture safelyAssembling and installing flat-packed and pre-built furnitureUsing basic hand tools to assemble and install furnitureWorking efficiently to meet site deadlinesFollowing site instructions and Health and Safety proceduresKeeping work areas clean, tidy and safeSupporting with other tasks as required on siteEssential Skills:The skills required as a Furniture Fitter are:A full UK driving licencePrevious hands-on, assembly, warehouse, trade or site experienceComfortable using basic hand toolsPhysically fit and comfortable with lifting and moving furnitureReliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck inGood teamwork and communication ..... full job details .....
