Fitter

At Engineering Direct, we are currently looking for an experienced Fitter with some preferred Mechanical experience to join our Clients team on a Permanent basis.

You will be mainly based at the garage on site but you will be required to go out to sites as and when needed. The first 6 months you will be shadowing the role that you will be doing. You will be working within a garage environment working on installing, inspecting and repairing garage equipment.

If you have hydraulic and pneumatic experience that would be beneficial.

If you can weld that would be a bonus.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Clean drivers licence
• Preferably over 25 years due to insurance purposes, if very experienced over 21 years will be considered
• Must be able to document clearly the work undertaken
• Must be willing to travel to various work places - travel time will be paid at the standard rate

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Mechanic knowledge
• Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience
• Previous garage work experience

SHIFT PATTERN

• 39 hours +
• Monday - Thursday (Apply online only)  and Friday (Apply online only)
• £14 / £16.50 - rate will depend on experience
