If you are looking to work for a growing business who truly value and care for their employees, then look no further!Aureos are seeking Fitters to join our team in the Bristol and Swansea area.As a Fitter at Aureos, you''ll be at the core of our high voltage operations, helping to maintain, install, and repair critical infrastructure for DNOs, IDNOs, and private clients across the South Wales and Bristol region.You''ll be joining a team that works across Aureos''s HV projects, ensuring network stability and supporting clients with new installations, upgrades, and responsive maintenance.Daily tasks and dutiesInstalling and maintaining HV equipment and switchgear, including AIS and GIS systems up to 132kVWorking on power transformers, protection panels, battery chargers, SCADA/telecontrol panels, and moreCarrying out planned and emergency maintenance across customer and DNO networksInterpreting technical drawings, setting out installation work, and ensuring all activities comply with design specs and safety standardsCollaborating with engineers, project managers and clients to ensure efficient, safe delivery of workParticipating in out-of-hours and standby duties to respond to urgent operational issuesSupporting a range of industrial environments, including manufacturing and commercial private networksSkills and experienceDNO industry experience in the UK or overseas, with a recognised qualification in Electrical Power EngineeringA proven track record in the construction, ..... full job details .....
