Welshpool, Immediate Start (Monday 3rd Aug)
4–5 Week Contract | CIS / LTD payments.
£250–£325 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fit-Out Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced school refurbishment project in Welshpool during the summer holiday period.

Working on a tight programme with a fixed completion date, you will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining health & safety standards, and ensuring the project is delivered on time and to a high standard before the new term begins.

Duties

• Manage the day-to-day running of the refurbishment and fit-out works.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades on site.
• Monitor progress against programme and resolve site issues quickly.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance.
• Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and site inspections.
• Oversee quality control and ensure works are completed to specification.
• Liaise with project teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit-out, interiors, or refurbishment projects.
• Experience delivering fast-track projects to strict deadlines.
• SMSTS.
• CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS beneficial but not essential.

Contract Details

• Location: Welshpool
• Start: Monday 3/8/26
• Duration: 4–5 weeks
• Rate: £250–£325 per day, depending on experience and suitability
• Payment: CIS or Limited Company
