FIT OUT MANAGER

Fawkes and Reece are currently working with a leading shopfitting contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Fit Out Manager for a new gym project in Cardiff.The project is due to commence in October 2026 and is expected to run for approximately 10-12 weeks. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fit Out Manager with a strong commercial fit-out or shopfitting background to join an established contractor and play a key role in delivering a high-quality project.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Fit Out Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of the project, including:Managing the fit-out works from commencement through to completion and handover.Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel.Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.Managing the site programme and coordinating multiple trades and activities.Liaising with the Project Manager, client, consultants and subcontractors.Monitoring progress and addressing any issues that may affect programme or quality.Ensuring all works comply with relevant health and safety legislation and company procedures.Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring quality standards are maintained.Managing snagging and ensuring the project is completed to the required standard.Attending site meetings and providing regular progress updates.Maintaining accurate site records, reports and relevant project documentation.Experience and ..... full job details .....
