We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a First Line Support Engineer / IT Service Desk Technician who has experience in IT Support roles, ideally at an MSP, with proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11 and Mac, and with great interpersonal skills and an excellent telephone manner.As the First Line Support Engineer / IT Service Desk Technician you will provide remote technical support as part of a talented team, working from home two days a week and three days in the office.You will be expected to demonstrate a strong work ethic in managing issues, show a keenness to learn, and develop an appreciation for the various client cultures and their requirements.Within the Cloud Support Team, the organisation’s training programme ensures opportunities to develop core skills and specialities for future IT career growth.About you

You are a self-starter with a real passion for technology. You are tenacious and persistent in finding solutions. You enjoy working with the latest technologies and understand the importance of excellent client service, able to explain concepts clearly without IT jargon. You believe IT and cloud technology can make the world a better place and want to contribute to that through cloud adoption.You will be given freedom to develop new skills and gain training in cutting-edge technologies including Microsoft Modern Desktop, Intune, Autopilot, Power Platform and Azure.Candidate requirements

EssentialA solid academic background in IT / technologyPrevious experience in IT support roles, ideally at an MSPKnowledge of Office 365; experience supporting Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint and TeamsProficient in supporting and troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11 and MacExperienced in Windows Server, including Active Directory Users and Computers, DNS, Event ViewerMFA, Conditional Access, Microsoft Modern DesktopGreat interpersonal skills and an excellent telephone mannerAn ability to work under pressure and respond to tight deadlines whilst prioritising workloadDesirableITIL FoundationCompTIA A+Benefits
