First Aider

School Nurse / First Aider - Bushey - -105 per day

Prospero Teaching is looking for a friendly, approachable person to support students in a school''s medical room in Bushey.

This is a short-term placement from after October half term until the end of December, covering a member of staff currently signed off. There is potential for an extension.

The role is entirely pastoral, supporting students who feel unwell or have minor injuries during the school day.

Duties include:

• Providing basic first aid and reassurance to students.

• Contacting parents when students are unwell or need collecting.

• Giving medication, such as paracetamol, in line with school policy and consent procedures.

• Keeping simple records of medical room visits.

You''ll need:

• Level 1 First Aid.

• Good interpersonal skills and a calm, caring manner.

No previous school nurse experience is necessary.

Location: Bushey
Pay: -105 per day
Duration: After October half term until the end of December, with a possible extension.
