      <description>Location: Fareham | Salary: 50000.00-50000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Embedded Firmware Engineer  Fareham Hybrid 50K- 70K + Benefits  We''re looking for an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to join a highly technical RandD team developing bespoke hardware and firmware solutions for advanced embedded platforms. You''ll work across multiple layers of development, from low-level bare-metal programming through to real-time operating environments, with hands-on involvement in hardware bring-up, chip validation, prototyping and product development.  The Role:  Develop embedded firmware in C Work across RTOS and bare-metal environments Support hardware bring-up, validation and prototyping Debug hardware/software issues using lab equipment Develop automated tests and verification tools Work closely with hardware and multidisciplinary engineering teams   What We''re Looking For  Strong Embedded C experience Strong understanding of serial communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and logic analysers Ability to work from schematics and datasheets Ideally exposure to FreeRTOS, MISRA C or low-level protocols   If this sounds like you - please apply below!</description>
