Firestopper

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Firestopper to join a well-established passive fire protection contractor delivering works across Manchester and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Firestopper, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality passive fire protection works, ensuring all installations comply with current fire safety regulations and manufacturers'' specifications.

Responsibilities

• Installing a range of passive fire protection systems.
• Batt and mastic installations.
• Fire collars, wraps and pipe sleeves.
• Linear gap seals and fire-rated sealants.
• Fire boarding and compartmentation works.
• Installing cavity barriers where required.
• Completing works in accordance with FIRAS/LPCB standards.
• Accurately completing installation records and quality assurance paperwork.
• Working safely whilst maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Firestopper
• NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection
• CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong knowledge of firestopping products and compartmentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
