Firefighter Training and Development Coach

Our client, a world-renowned further education and resilience training provider, is seeking a Firefighter Training and Development Coach to join its specialist training team around the Gloucestershire area. This permanent, full-time role offers the opportunity to deliver practical and theoretical fire and rescue training across a range of professional development programmes, qualifications and private sector courses.Key Responsibilities:Delivering high-quality fire and rescue training across classroom, practical and blended learning environmentsSupporting the delivery and continuous improvement of the Firefighter Foundation Development ProgrammeProviding structured instruction, assessment and constructive feedback to learners and delegatesActing as a syndicate lead when required and supporting the coordination of course activitiesDelivering training at the main site and other locations where requiredEnsuring the health, safety and welfare of learners, colleagues and visitors throughout all training activitiesSupporting the annual delivery plan by developing skills across specialist subject areas and contributing to additional coursesPromoting equality, diversity, excellent customer service and a positive health and safety cultureJob Requirements:Qualified Firefighter Instructor with experience in a uniformed training environment, preferably within the Fire and Rescue Service or a recognised fire training establishmentStrong understanding of the fire sector and relevant ..... full job details .....
