Fire Surveyor

A well-established fire safety consultancy is looking to recruit an experienced Fire Surveyor to support a growing workload across Liverpool and the wider North West. The successful Fire Surveyor will be responsible for inspecting a variety of residential, commercial and public-sector buildings.The Fire Surveyor''s RoleThe appointed Fire Surveyor will carry out detailed fire safety inspections, identify defects and provide clients with clear guidance on required remedial works.Typical responsibilities will include:Undertaking compartmentation and fire door surveysInspecting fire-stopping and passive fire protection systemsIdentifying defects, breaches and areas of non-complianceProducing accurate survey reports with practical recommendationsReviewing drawings, plans and building informationLiaising with clients, contractors and property managersSupporting remedial and compliance programmesManaging site visits across Liverpool and the surrounding regionThe Fire SurveyorThe successful Fire Surveyor will ideally have:Previous experience within fire surveying, passive fire protection or building surveyingGood knowledge of fire doors, compartmentation and fire-stoppingA relevant qualification in Fire Safety, Construction, Building Surveying or a related disciplineStrong understanding of UK fire safety guidance and legislationGood written reporting and communication skillsThe ability to work independently across multiple sitesA full UK driving licenceRelevant qualifications or ..... full job details .....
