They are expanding their Passive Fire team and seek a hardworking Fire Stopping Engineer with hands-on technical experience and relevant training/qualifications (e.g., FIRAS ticket). Strong experience as a Fire Stopping Engineer within a well-established outfitFIRAS ticket (required); NVQ Level 2 in Fire Stopping (desirable)Robust technical knowledgeHardworking attitudeGood literacy and numeracy skillsConfident in using IT software to complete reportsRole and Responsibilities

Inspecting and installing fire stopping measures, including fire resistant sealants, firestop blocks, batt, mastic and cavity barriersCarrying out fire curtain installationsSurveying existing systems to ensure compliance and efficient operationMaking recommendations for worksWorking from schematic drawingsAdhering to HSE guidelinesProducing detailed service reportsWorking to agreed deadlines and personal targetsMaintaining strong working relationships with clientsLocation and Travel
