A leading company in the FM industry is seeking a Fire Stopper in Derbyshire to ensure fire safety standards are met and maintained.The Role Install and maintain fire-rated doors, door sets, and associated ironmongery (hinges, closers, seals). Inspect and assess existing fire doors for compliance with regulations (e.g., BS 8214, BS 476). Identify defects and carry out repairs or replacements where necessary. Fit intumescent strips, cold smoke seals, fire-rated glazing, and other fire-stopping components. Record and document all work accurately, including photographic evidence and compliance reports. You Previous experience fitting fire doors. Understanding of passive fire protection systems and UK fire regulations. DBS Basic required. CSCS card needed. Own vehicle and tools required.
