In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire-stopping systems that prevent the spread of fire and smoke within buildings. Your expertise will ensure that structures meet safety standards and comply with fire protection regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safety and integrity of construction projects across various sites, utilising a broad range of technical skills and hands-on craftsmanship. Duties Install fire-resistant barriers, sealants, and other fire-stopping materials in walls, floors, ceilings, and penetrations using hand tools and power tools 08:00 - 16:00 - Monday - Friday  Inspect existing fire-stopping systems to identify deficiencies or areas needing repair or upgrade Collaborate with roofing, plumbing, electrical, and masonry teams to ensure fire-stopping measures integrate seamlessly with other building systems Fabricate custom fire-stopping components using welding, carpentry, or fabrication techniques as needed Maintain detailed documentation of installation procedures...
