About the Project We are looking to speak with experienced Fire Stoppers for a long-term residential construction project in Central London. The work will involve fire stopping and passive fire protection installations throughout a residential development, helping ensure service penetrations, joints and gaps are properly sealed in accordance with the project specifications and fire safety requirements. We are looking for candidates who understand the importance of compliant installations, pay close attention to detail and can maintain a high standard of workmanship across a busy construction site. The Work Involves Installing fire stopping systems around service penetrations through walls and floors. Sealing openings around pipes, cables, conduits and other building services. Installing fire-rated sealants, collars, wraps, batt systems and other specified fire protection products. Completing linear joint sealing and compartmentation works where required. Identifying gaps and breaches in fire-rated walls, floors and compartment lines. Working from construction drawings, fire stopping details and manufacturer specifications. Ensuring products are installed correctly and are suitable for the application and required fire rating. Maintaining accurate installation records and photographic evidence where required by the project.
