Job Title: Fire-Stopping Operative (Nights)
Location: Eltham, London, SE9
Pay/Day rate: £290 - £310 

Hours of Work: 6:00pm – 4:00am

Type: Temporary
Start Date: Monday 4th August

We are hiring for a Fire-Stopping Operative that has experience with Quelfire Batt and mastic installation and can work on a retail refurbishment project at an EE Store in Eltham, London. This is a 4-night temporary night shift project and you will be responsible for completing fire-stopping works using Bolster Systems for digital logging and compliance.

Duties of a Fire-Stopping Operative

In this role you will be working in the fire-stopping team to complete passive fire protection works on-site. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

1. Installing Quelfire Batt and mastic to manufacturer standard details

2. Accurately recording all work using Bolster Systems, including photos and time logs

3. Ensuring all completed work is digitally documented with GPS tagging enabled

4. Keeping the site and equipment clean and in good working condition

5. Adhering to site safety procedures and PPE requirements throughout

Skills and experience of a Fire-Stopping Operative

As a Fire-Stopping Operative, you need to have experience with:

1. Fire-stopping installations to Quelfire specifications

2. Using Bolster Systems for clocking in/out, image upload, and task tracking

It would be beneficial to the Fire-Stopping Operative role if you also had:

• Fluent spoken English for effective communication

• Confidence working independently on night shifts

• Strong punctuality and attention to site protocol

• Proper workwear (work trousers and plain dark top only)
