Fire-Stopping Carpenter Responsibilities:
- Installing fire-resistant materials such as batt, mastic, cavity barriers, and fire-rated boards
- Sealing penetrations in walls, floors, and ceilings to maintain fire integrity
- Applying intumescent coatings and fitting fire-resistant ductwork systems
- Following technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety on-site
What you''ll need:
- NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (essential)
- FRA (Fire Risk Assessment) / passive fire protection certificates (desirable)
- Previous fire-stopping or passive fire protection experience
- Own van and tools
- Strong awareness of health & safety
