Fire & Security Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire and Security Systems Operations Field service team. You will ensure effective delivery of PPM, Reactive calls and additional Small Works, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements.Responsibilities

Carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of Fire alarms, CCTV, Intruder alarms, access control and associated equipment and products to the relevant legislative and qualitative standards, alongside appropriate documentation and records in a timely and appropriate manner.Ensure effective delivery of PPM, Reactive calls and additional Small Works, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements.Work to high levels of Health and Safety requirements and have experience in a similar role carrying out PPM, reactive calls and Small Works in the Fire and Security Systems industry. Include service testing and inspection to the relevant standards/codes and fault-finding techniques.Attend and actively participate in company-initiated training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical aspects of the role.Ideal candidate would have experience with PPM, Accident Reporting, or RAMS, and following Health and Safety Legislation, preferably in the engineering field. Demonstrate sharing of technical and problem-solving abilities with colleagues and the ability to take initiative with little supervision.Benefits
