Fire Safety Specialist

In this role, you will ensure Southern Housing''s properties are maintained to the highest possible fire safety standards while meeting all statutory, regulatory, and organisational requirements. You will act as a subject matter expert, providing specialist fire safety advice, supporting key compliance activities, and building effective relationships with internal teams, contractors, regulators, and external partners. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Working with external fire safety partnerships and services, including Fire Services, FRS Primary Authority Partnership and Local Authorities. Providing advice and support to other staff, both technical and non-technical, on fire safety related matters such as RPEEPs/PCFRA, FRA actions, PEEPS. Performing audits of schemes independently or with enforcement bodies to ensure fire safety standards and documentations are in place. Investigating fire incidents, report findings and recommendations. Taking part in resident engagements advising residents on fire safety in their own home and at resident forums.
