Act as the SME for fire safety matters, driving compliance, governance and continual improvement. Be responsible for developing and implementing the Fire Safety Strategy. Oversee fire risk assessment programmes and provide technical assurance across buildings, operational areas and capital projects. Lead the Fire Safety Management System and governance framework. Develop fire safety policies, standards and procedures. Manage and assure statutory Fire Risk Assessments across the estate. Undertake and validate complex and higher-risk Fire Risk Assessments.
