Hollis’ Building Safety and Fire service is seeking a dedicated Fire Safety Consultant for our London office. Key Responsibilities

Develop and review fire safety strategies for new and existing buildings.

Conduct fire risk assessments (FRAs), including Fire Risk Assessments of External Walls (FRAEW) in accordance with PAS 9980.

Lead the development of Building Safety Cases: investigate building safety risks, gather and analyse evidence, and produce comprehensive written safety case reports for presentation to clients and regulatory bodies.

Advise on regulatory compliance including Building Regulations, Approved Document B, and the Fire Safety Act.

Liaise with stakeholders including architects, developers, and local authorities.

Support clients with fire engineering solutions and evacuation planning.

Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practice development.

Your Profile

Degree in Fire Engineering, Building Surveying, or related discipline

Membership of IFE, IFSM, or similar professional body advantageous

Proven experience in fire safety consultancy within the real estate or construction sector

Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation including in-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and its implications for high-risk buildings

Demonstrated experience conducting FRAEW''s, developing building safety cases beneficial

Excellent communication skills, client facing and able to build and maintain relationships across a range of internal/external stakeholders
