This is an excellent opportunity for a Fire Engineer who wants to work on complex, high-profile projects while benefiting from the support of a wider technical consultancy.The successful Fire Engineer will provide specialist fire engineering advice across a broad range of sectors, working closely with architects, developers, contractors and other technical disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.The Fire Engineer''s RoleThe Fire Engineer will be responsible for:Developing fire strategies for new-build and refurbishment projectsProviding technical advice on fire safety design and Building RegulationsReviewing architectural, structural and MEP informationSupporting projects through design, construction and handover stagesAdvising on means of escape, compartmentation, smoke control and fire resistanceAttending design team meetings and liaising directly with clientsSupporting Building Safety Act and Gateway-related requirements where applicableUndertaking site inspections and technical reviewsWorking across sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education and mixed-use developmentsThe Fire EngineerThe successful Fire Engineer will ideally have:A degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering or a related disciplineExperience working within a consultancy ..... full job details .....
