Responsibilities
As a Fire Risk Assessor, your role includes:
- Conducting Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments aligned with PAS 79.
- Inspecting fire doors and compartmentation.
- Drafting clear, actionable reports with recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with fire safety legislation, such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
- Proposing fees for fire safety services and advising clients on regulations.
Qualifications
Successful candidates for the Fire Risk Assessor position will have:
- 3+ years of experience with fire risk assessments.
- Certification such as NEBOSH Fire, IFSM, or IFE.
- Knowledge of UK fire legislation and excellent communication/report-writing skills.
- Residency near London, Birmingham, or Manchester.
Desirable: Experience with the RiskBase App and High-Risk Buildings (HRBs).
