The Fire Risk Assessor''s Role

The Fire Risk Assessor will conduct Type 1, 2, 3 and 4 fire risk assessments across a range of property types, ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation and guidance.

Responsibilities will include producing detailed reports, identifying fire safety risks, recommending remedial actions and liaising with clients to provide practical fire safety solutions.

Projects will include residential blocks, commercial premises, healthcare facilities and educational buildings.

The Fire Risk Assessor

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Experience undertaking fire risk assessments independently
• A recognised fire risk assessment qualification
• Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order
• Excellent report writing skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Membership of the IFE, IFSM or a similar professional body would be advantageous
