Fire Remediation Administrator

  • Hourly rate: -22 PAYE or -27.37 Umbrella per hour
  • Location: London SE1
  • Job Type: Temp until end of October with possible extension

We are seeking a dedicated Fire Remediation Administrator to join a housing association. This role is crucial in providing administration and client liaison support to the Fire Remediation Team, ensuring compliance and the delivery of safe and client-friendly services in our homes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and meticulously maintain the fire remediation team''s database to ensure data accuracy and frequent updates.
  • Organise and produce data for meetings, including recording minutes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for managing all fire remediation work requests, disseminating information related to the works carried out.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor systems, registers, records, and databases for fire safety remediation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage the fire remediation team email inbox, ensuring timely responses in line with organisational timescales and seamless communication with the fire safety team and partners.
  • Investigate and respond to complaints, analyse trends, and produce reports, ensuring responses align with our core values of respect, accountability, and kindness.
  • Liaise with various teams to arrange access for essential fire remediation works and testing as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the Fire Remediation Team, including processing purchase orders and invoices for contractors.
  • Communicate with internal customers and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of fire remediation information.
  • Organise bulk mailings to residents and stakeholders prior to planned fire remediation safety works.
  • Manage the delivery of completed EWS1 workstream, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer experience, embodying our core values daily.
  • Good understanding of the regulatory environment relating to fire safety remediation and lease agreements.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and experience with creating and maintaining SharePoint data libraries.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and respond to changing regulations and delivery plans.
  • Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and EWS1 requirements.
  • Excellent administrative, organisational, and diary management skills.
  • Experience in collating information from various sources to create, populate, and update project plans.
