      <description>Location: Birmingham | Salary: &amp;pound;40000 - &amp;pound;50000/annum van, pension and other perks | Type: Permanent | Fire Pump Engineer   We are recruiting for an experienced Fire Pump Engineer to join a long-established specialist engineering business, covering the Midlands.  This is a home-based field service position carrying out the service, maintenance, fault finding and installation of fire pumps and associated equipment at customer sites.  The position would suit an experienced Fire Pump Engineer or an engineer from a closely related background who has strong knowledge of diesel engines and the ability to confidently diagnose both mechanical and electrical faults.  You will be supported by dedicated office coordinators and provided with a new company vehicle, phone, tablet, PPE and everything required to carry out the role effectively.   The Role   As a Fire Pump Engineer, your responsibilities will include:   Carrying out service and planned maintenance on fire pumps and associated equipment.
