Fire Extinguisher Technician

A well-established fire safety specialist is looking for an experienced Fire Extinguisher Technician to join their growing team covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas.The successful Fire Extinguisher Technician will have a minimum of 4 years'' experience within the fire extinguisher industry and will be confident carrying out servicing, maintenance, installation and remedial works across a range of commercial sites.The Fire Extinguisher Technician''s RoleThe Fire Extinguisher Technician will be responsible for:Servicing and maintaining portable fire extinguishers in line with BS 5306Installing and commissioning new fire extinguishersCompleting extinguisher surveys and identifying remedial requirementsAdvising clients on suitable extinguisher types and positioningCompleting service reports and relevant compliance documentationManaging their own diary and travelling across Birmingham and surrounding areasProviding a professional service to commercial clientsThe Fire Extinguisher TechnicianThe successful Fire Extinguisher Technician will ideally have:A minimum of 4 years'' fire extinguisher servicing experienceBAFE or equivalent recognised extinguisher trainingStrong knowledge of BS 5306Experience working across commercial environmentsA full UK driving licenceGood customer service and communication skillsThe ability to work independently and manage a mobile workloadIn Return?The successful Fire Extinguisher Technician can expect: 35,000 - 40,000 basic salaryCompany van ..... full job details .....
