What You''ll DoFire Engineering and Design;Prepare fire strategies in accordance with UK Building Regulations, ADB, BS 9999, BS 9991, BS 7974 and associated guidance.Prepare retrospective fire strategies for existing buildings, including HRBs, using available records, site inspection evidence and relevant current guidance.Support external wall fire assessments and facade remediation projects, including review of facade build-ups, cavity barriers, fire stopping, insulation, membranes, cladding systems and interfaces.Produce fire engineering calculations and technical assessments to support design solutions.Undertake fire risk assessments and provide recommendations for existing and new buildings.Assist with smoke control, means of escape, structural fire engineering and passive fire protection assessments.Review active fire protection systems including fire detection, suppression and smoke management systems.Support the integration of fire safety into modern methods of construction ..... full job details .....
