Fire Engineer

An internationally respected consultancy is looking to appoint a skilled Fire Engineer to join their UK fire safety team. The successful Fire Engineer will play a key role in delivering fire strategies for high-profile projects across sectors such as transport, heritage, education, and commercial development.

The Fire Engineer''s Role

• Develop and deliver project-specific fire strategies
• Apply UK fire safety legislation and guidance across various sectors
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and external stakeholders
• Support the use of fire modelling and risk assessment tools
• Participate in technical development and internal knowledge-sharing

The Fire Engineer

• Degree in Fire Engineering, Building Services, or a related subject
• Experience within a fire consultancy or relevant engineering environment
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and fire safety codes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working towards or already holding Chartered Engineer status
