Fire Engineer

A leading fire safety and engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Fire Engineer to join their expanding team in Birmingham. The successful Fire Engineer will work on technically challenging projects, including high-rise residential buildings, commercial developments and complex mixed-use schemes.This opportunity is ideal for a Fire Engineer looking to develop their technical expertise within a growing consultancy.Key responsibilities include:Producing detailed fire strategies for residential and commercial developments.Undertaking fire engineering assessments on complex buildings.Reviewing existing building designs and identifying fire safety improvements.Supporting fa ade and external wall fire safety assessments where appropriately qualified.Working alongside architects, contractors and design teams.Providing technical advice on fire safety compliance and engineering solutions.The Fire EngineerThe successful Fire Engineer will have:Degree in Fire Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.Previous experience in a fire engineering consultancy.Strong understanding of BS 9999, BS 7974 and Approved Document B.Experience delivering fire strategies on complex residential projects.Knowledge of building regulations and relevant fire safety standards.Strong technical reporting and client-facing skills.Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) desirable.In Return? 55,000- 65,000 Hybrid and flexible working opportunities.Company pension.Generous annual ..... full job details .....
