Fire Engineer

An established and growing fire engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Fire Engineer to join their Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Fire Engineer to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.The successful Fire Engineer will deliver technical fire engineering solutions, supporting projects from initial design through to completion.Key responsibilities include:Developing fire strategies for new-build and existing developments.Undertaking fire engineering assessments and technical reviews.Providing fire safety advice throughout the design and construction stages.Carrying out evacuation modelling and smoke control assessments where required.Liaising with architects, developers and building control professionals.Ensuring compliance with relevant UK fire safety legislation and guidance.The Fire EngineerThe successful Fire Engineer will have:Degree in Fire Engineering or a related engineering discipline.Experience working within a fire engineering consultancy.Strong knowledge of BS 9999, BS 7974 and Approved Document B.Experience producing detailed fire strategies and technical reports.Understanding of fire dynamics, means of escape and smoke control.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.In Return? 55,000- 65,000Hybrid working opportunities.Company pension and holiday allowance.Support towards chartership and professional development.Excellent career ..... full job details .....
