This is a key appointment for an experienced Fire Engineer who wants the opportunity to take ownership of fire engineering design and help develop this capability within an established fire safety company.The role is fully remote, so location is not an issue. Their office is based in Bedford, while projects are delivered nationwide.The RoleThe successful Fire Engineer will take responsibility for managing fire engineering input across the full design stage, working on a range of complex residential, industrial and other technically challenging projects.As the company does not currently have an in-house Fire Engineer, this person will have significant autonomy and will play an important role in developing and building the fire engineering function.The company already delivers a broad range of fire safety services, including:Fire Risk Assessments (FRA)Fire Safety consultancyFire ProtectionFire Door inspections and consultancyWider compliance and fire safety supportThe Fire Engineer will work alongside these existing services, providing technical fire engineering expertise from design through to project delivery.The Fire EngineerThe successful candidate will ideally have:2-3+ years'' experience working as a Fire EngineerExperience across complex, residential and industrial projectsStrong knowledge of UK ..... full job details .....
