Fire Door Surveyor

Randstad is recruiting a Fire Door Surveyor on behalf of a BAFE SP205-accredited fire safety consultancy. Partnered with an AI-native compliance platform, the business uses mobile tablet software that automates report generation and floorplan mapping directly on site, significantly reducing post-site administrative work. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct technical compliance audits and condition assessments of timber (FD30/FD60) and steel fire doors, frames, ironmongery, and seals.Evaluate installations against BS 8214, BS 476, EN 1634, and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.Capture inspection data, photos, and floorplan pin-drops using tablet software while on site.Deliver surveying programs across commercial, healthcare, higher education, and public sector estates.Focus 100% on technical auditing and inspection (strictly no physical fitting or installation work).RequirementsMinimum 2 years of dedicated fire door or compartmentation surveying experience.Dedicated inspection background (hands-on fitting without formal surveying experience is not suitable).Recognized industry certification preferred (FDIS DipFD, BRE ABBE Level 3, BM TRADA Q-Mark, NAFDI, or FIRAS Inspector).Full UK Driving Licence.Package and BenefitsMobile technology that automates report drafting and eliminates administrative backlogs.Stable public sector and commercial contracts.Support for ongoing professional development and accreditations.To ApplyPlease submit your CV and a member of the team will ..... full job details .....
