Fire Door installers

PSR are seeking experienced Fire Door Installers with a strong background in passive fire protection to handle compliant installations, maintenance, and remedial works across commercial and residential sites in the Eastbourne area.Key ResponsibilitiesCompliant Installation: Install FD30 and FD60 fire doorsets, frames, and ironmongery strictly in line with manufacturer specifications and third-party test evidence.Gap and Seal Management: Maintain precise tolerances on door leaves, gaps (2-4mm), and correct fitting of intumescent strips and cold smoke seals.Remedial Works: Carry out defect corrections on existing doors following fire risk assessments and inspection reports.Requirements and QualificationsProven track record in specialized fire door installation-this is a compliance-critical role, not general carpentry.NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent demonstrable site experience).Deep working knowledge of current UK fire door regulations, British Standards (e.g., BS 8214), and passive fire safety protocols.Manual Handling, Working Heights, Asbestos Awareness, CSCS Card.BM Trada, Firas QualificationPlease apply. ..... full job details .....
