Due to company expansion, a leading name within the building services industry is seeking a Fire Door Engineer to cover new contracts across the North West region. Applicants must have a robust skillset and adaptable nature in order to meet client requirements. Experience / Qualifications

Must have proven experience working as a Fire Door Engineer

It is preferable that candidates hold an NVQ in Joinery

Will hold the BM TRADA and FDIS Fire Door Inspector

Ideally will hold the FIRAS Fire Door Installation ticker

Able to work across a range of client sites

Strong technical knowledge

Good literacy and IT skills

The Role

Thoroughly inspecting existing fire doors to establish any required remedial duties

Undertaking general maintenance, repairs and servicing on fire doors

Completing some installations of fire doors

Meeting with clients to provide technical recommendations

Working in accordance with FIRAS guidelines

Travelling in line with company requirements

Working to agreed deadlines and targets

Producing detailed reports
