Rate: £220-£250 per day (CIS) - Depending on Experience

Fortus Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Passive Fire Protection contractor for experienced Fire Door Carpenters to join their team on a long-term residential project based in Richmond.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a reputable contractor, carrying out fire door remedial works in line with IFC regulations.

The Role

You will be responsible for completing a range of fire door remedial works, ensuring all doors are compliant with current fire safety standards and IFC regulations.

Works may include:

• Fire door remedials

   

• Replacing intumescent strips and smoke seals
• Installing or replacing ironmongery
• Hinge replacements
• Door adjustments
• Installing drop seals
• General fire door upgrades
• Completing works to a high standard within occupied residential properties

All materials are provided, meaning you can arrive on site with your own tools and begin work straight away.

Requirements

To be considered, you''ll need:

• Proven experience carrying out Fire Door Remedial Works
• Blue CSCS Card (Essential)
• Own tools and PPE
• Good understanding of Fire Door Regulations and IFC standards
• Ability to work independently and produce high-quality workmanship
