Fire Damper Testers and Installers Tech 1 and Tech 2National Coverage Majority of Work in LondonWe are recruiting experienced Fire Damper Testers and Installers for permanent roles covering projects across the UK.Although these are national positions requiring regular travel and overnight stays, the majority of the work will be based in London. Travel expenses and accommodation will be paid when working away from home.The RoleInspect, test and maintain fire and smoke dampersCarry out drop testing and reset dampers after inspectionInstall new fire dampers and complete remedial worksIdentify defects, damage and non-compliant installationsCheck access panels, penetration seals and surrounding fire-stoppingAccurately record test results, defects and photographic evidenceComplete site reports and update asset-management systemsWork in accordance with relevant standards and manufacturers instructionsFollow all site health and safety proceduresTech 1Suitable for candidates with experience in fire damper testing, ventilation, ductwork or passive fire who can work effectively as part of a team.Tech 2Suitable for experienced technicians who can independently test, install and complete remedial works on fire and smoke dampers.
