Fire Damper Engineer

Our client is a well-established specialist passive fire protection contractor that has secured a significant pipeline of fire damper inspection and remedial works across multiple Category A prisons throughout the Midlands and North. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Fire Damper Engineer to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. The Role Carry out fire damper inspections and testing in accordance with current industry standards. Complete remedial works, including repairs and replacements where required. Produce accurate inspection reports and photographic records. Ensure all works are completed safely and to the highest quality standards. Travel between prison sites across the Midlands and North. Requirements CPC Clearance is essential (applications without current CPC Clearance cannot be considered). Previous experience testing and remediating fire dampers. Good understanding of passive fire protection and fire damper compliance. Full UK driving licence. Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate documentation. Package £33,000 basic salary. Door-to-door travel paid (equating to approximately £36,000+ earnings). Company vehicle. Fuel card. Tools and equipment provided. Company pension. Annual leave.
