      <description>Location: North Lanarkshire | Salary: &amp;pound;27.50/hour plus mileage allowance | Type: Temporary | Fire Damper Engineer    Lanarkshire, Scotland   6 weeks   -27.50/hr plus mileage    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Damper Engineer to carry out inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire and smoke damper systems, units, and associated control panels to ensure compliance with safety regulations and optimal functionality.   Key Responsibilities:    Conduct thorough inspections of fire and smoke damper systems and units.  Perform routine maintenance, testing, and repairs on dampers and control panels.  Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in damper systems and related equipment.  Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.  Ensure all work complies with local fire safety regulations, standards, and company policies.  Provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements as needed.  Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.    Requirements:    Proven experience in fire damper inspection, maintenance, and repair.
