Job Title: Fire Damper Engineer
Location: Coalville, East Midlands
Salary/Benefits: -25k - -40k + Training & Benefits

Our client has recently won new contracts in the Midlands region, covering a range of commercial, public sector and industrial client sites. They are seeking a knowledgeable Fire Damper Engineer to undertake thorough testing and remedial duties in line with BS9999 guidelines. Experience / Qualifications:
- Strong experience working as a fire damper engineer, undertaking testing as a minimum
- Ideally will have undertaken remedial duties on fire dampers
- Will hold the fire damper testing ticket
- Fully conversant in BS9999 guidelines
- Professional attitude
- Good literacy and IT skills

The Role:
- Conducting thorough fire damper inspections and drop testing
- Cleaning, repairs and maintenance on fire dampers
- Installing access doors
- Assessing fire damper performance and making technical recommendations for remedials
- Remedial duties, such as: changing links, collars and TEK screws
- Documenting works undertaken
- Adhering to strict safety guidelines
- Working to agreed targets and deadlines
