Fire Consultant

We''re working with a leading fire consultancy to find a Fire Safety Consultant with proven expertise in external wall assessments, cladding systems, and EWS1/PAS 9980 reporting.

This is an opportunity for a highly experienced Fire Risk Assessor/Fire Safety consultant to progress further in their career, and gain the opportunity to learn and develop in Facades/External Walls. Our client is willing to offer in depth training to assist with PAS9980/FRAEW''s.

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications ranging from £65k up to £90k for the right individual. 

As a Fire Safety Consultant, you will:

• Conduct complex Fire Risk Assessments on a variety of premises 

• Prepare clear and comprehensive reports with robust fire risk mitigation advice.

• Liaise with clients, building owners, and other stakeholders to advise on remediation strategies.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and project managers.

• Stay up to date with evolving building safety regulations, including the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety (England) Regulations.

• Sound understanding of building construction, fire spread mechanisms, and façade systems.

• Knowledge of PAS 9980, EWS1 forms, and fire safety compliance.

• Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g. IFE, IFSM, RICS, etc.) preferred.

• Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.

• Strong qualifications in Fire Safety
