PermanentA leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Fire Assessor to support the safety of critical infrastructure projects. This role involves delivering fire strategies, risk assessments and design-stage consultancy across high-risk environments including defence, energy and hazardous facilities.Responsibilities

Develop fire safety strategies, technical reports and compliance documentationLead or contribute to design reviews and propose effective fire safety solutionsConduct fire engineering analysis, including smoke and evacuation modellingCollaborate with architects, clients and regulatory bodies to align fire safety measuresUse advanced modelling software to perform fire dynamics assessmentsQualifications

Degree in Fire Safety Engineering or related disciplineStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience in fire risk assessment and strategy developmentFamiliarity with evacuation modelling and fire dynamics toolsDesirable

Prior consultancy experienceKnowledge of DSEAR regulationsExperience mentoring junior assessors or leading technical reviewsClearance and Nationality
