Fire and Security Systems Designer 40,000 - 50,000 depending on experience, London or Burgess Hill, Full-time, Permanent, 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays (rising with service to 25 days) + Birthday off, Profit Share Scheme, Pension scheme The RoleWe are working with a well-established fire systems business operating across high-end commercial and residential projects to recruit a Fire and Security Systems Designer. This is a full-time, permanent role based at either their Burgess Hill Head Office or London Office, with travel to sites across the UK. The successful candidate will join a collaborative technical team and play a key role in delivering compliant and coordinated life safety system designs.Key responsibilities include:Designing fire alarm, security, voice alarm, and related life safety systems to British Standards (BS 5839, BS 8629, BS 6266, etc.)Producing design documentation, device layout drawings, cable schedules and BOQsLiaising with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure design complianceConducting site surveys and attending design/progress meetingsSupporting tender and project delivery teams with technical inputEnsuring designs meet regulatory and client specificationsUsing AutoCAD and other design tools to produce accurate layoutsProviding technical advice and design validationCoordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth project deliveryMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and innovations RequirementsPrevious experience ..... full job details .....
