Fire and Security Service Engineer

Security Service Engineer - Field Based - Up to 45k We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer to join a leading organisation within the security industry. This is a field-based role, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with a wide range of modern security technologies. The Role: As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending both pre-planned and reactive callouts, ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of security systems across residential and commercial sites. Diagnose and resolve faults across security systems, restoring functionality efficiently. Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on intruder alarms, CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems. Respond to emergency callouts and pre-arranged service visits. Monitor alarm activations and investigate issues, taking appropriate action. Recommend and implement system upgrades and improvements. Provide technical support to customers both remotely and on-site. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company procedures. Requirements: Proven experience working as a Service Engineer within Fire or Security. Strong knowledge of intruder alarms. Full UK driving licence. Good understanding of CCTV, access control, and fire alarms. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
