an established Fire & Security company to secure a permanent Operations Manager for their team.

Our client is an established Fire & Security company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality service and maintenance solutions across Hampshire and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of their service and maintenance operation from their Waterlooville office.

This is primarily an office-based role and would suit either an experienced Operations/Service Manager or a Senior Fire & Security Engineer looking to take the next step into management. You''ll use your technical knowledge to support engineers, manage service operations and play a key role in maintaining compliance and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Salary and Benefits - Operations Manager

• Up to £50,000 Basic Salary (DOE)

Key
Responsibilities - Operations Manager

• Manage the day-to-day running of the service and maintenance department
• Oversee the maintenance database, ensuring planned maintenance visits are scheduled and completed efficiently
• Manage incoming service calls and coordinate engineer workloads
• Provide technical support over the phone, diagnosing faults and helping engineers or customers resolve issues remotely where possible
• Minimise unnecessary engineer call-outs through effective fault diagnosis
• Attend site when required to assist engineers with more complex technical issues
• Support the business during BAFE and NSI audits and assessments
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures and company compliance standards are maintained
• Work closely with engineers and senior management to deliver an excellent customer experience

Skills and
experience - Operations Manager:

• Strong technical knowledge of Fire & Security systems
• Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Service Manager, Technical Support Engineer or Senior Fire & Security Engineer
• Confident diagnosing faults across Fire & Security systems
• Good understanding of planned preventative maintenance scheduling
• Knowledge of BAFE, NSI and Health & Safety requirements
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
