Fire and Security Engineer

Standby Payments for on call support - £20 per night + double time per call door to door, minimum 2 hours for 1st call. 1 week in 6. Job Description: They are a Fire, Security and Electrical contractors based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. They specialise in Installation, maintenance and commission of Fire alarm''s ( BAFE accredited ) Emergency lighting, Access control, Door entry, Intruder alarms, CCTV and all aspects of electrical work. The company prides itself on their excellent customer service and attention to detail and are looking for a self-motivated professional individual. The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive service calls and small installs on a variety of Fire alarm, door entry, access control and security alarm systems. Knowledge of CCTV would be an advantage but not essential. What we are looking for An industry specific accredited qualification. (or working towards) A very good understanding of BS5839-1. Work on systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and associated equipment.
