Job Title: Fire and Security Engineer
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)

My client is looking for a skilled and experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire and security systems. Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and service fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, intruder alarms, access control, and other security systems.
- Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with relevant fire and security standards and regulations.
- Provide customer support, offering expert advice and guidance on system operation and maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections and servicing of existing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Prepare and submit detailed service reports and documentation.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure clear communication and excellent service.

Requirements:

- Proven experience working as a Fire and Security Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of fire and security systems (including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms).
- Experience in system installations, maintenance, and servicing.
- Relevant qualifications (such as FIA, NICEIC, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Full UK driving license (as travel to client sites is required).
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with fire and security systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A proactive, reliable, and efficient approach to work.
