Job Title: Fire and Security Engineer Location: Home-based covering Yorkshire area Hours: 42.5 hours per week (door-to-door paid) + on-call rota Salary: Up to £37,000 + overtime + bonus + call out + door 2 door pay Essential Requirements Proven experience as a Fire and Security / Life Safety Systems Engineer Strong fault-finding and first-time fix capability Experience servicing, maintaining and commissioning fire and security systems Full, clean UK driving licence Able to pass DBS check and BS7858 security screening IT competent (PDA, Microsoft Word and Excel) The Role Due to continued expansion, EFT Systems an established life safety and security company who have been operating for over 50 years is seeking an experienced engineer to support large service contracts and installation projects across the Yorkshire area. Key responsibilities include: Reactive maintenance and servicing of fire and security systems Small works installations and commissioning Managing van stock and ordering equipment Producing technical surveys to support quotations Supervising subcontractors and supporting apprentices Maintaining clear communication with customers Completing documentation via electronic PDA Work will cover fire alarms, fire extinguishers, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, emergency lighting and monitoring systems.
