Fire and Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing team, based around Sheffield and covering customers across Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable role with no call-outs, a competitive salary of up to £45,000, and a company van that can also be used for personal journeys.

The Role

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance and installation of a range of fire and security systems across commercial customer sites throughout Yorkshire.

Your work will include:

• Fire alarm systems

• Intruder alarm systems

• CCTV systems

• Access control systems

• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs

• Planned preventative maintenance

• Installation and commissioning of new systems

• Completing service documentation and maintaining high standards of customer service

What We're Looking For

Candidates must have:

• 5+ years' experience working within the fire and security industry

• Strong experience servicing and installing fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems

• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• A professional approach when working on customer sites

• A clean, full UK manual driving licence

Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience
Company Van: Provided with personal use
Call-Out: None – no call-out rota
Holiday: 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Training: Manufacturer training provided
Area: Sheffield and across Yorkshire
